Reports: Bayh Retiring

Sen. Evan Bayh (D-IN) is expected to announce that he will not seek a 3rd term.  He joins the ranks of Chris Dodd and Byron Dorgan who earlier announced their retirements.  Bayh’s outgoing seat was expected to be subject to some Republican competition although recent polls showed Bayh ahead.  With this retirement, I would expect Indiana to be given another shade of red.
